Most designers don’t realize this when using Adobe Illustrator and end up with similar-looking color templates. Such color themes are more visually appealing and add more life and variety to a project. However, its chroma is attuned to give it more variety. As opposed to the first swatch, the swatch below is again the same color scheme that uses all the hues as the one above. However, it lacks contrast between the colors that make it look mundane or monotonous. Most of the time, such color schemes would have consistent chroma levels however, by adjusting the tints, tones, and shades values, you can create more appealing schemes that suit your project requirements the best.Īs you might have noticed in this picture, the first example of an analogous color scheme looks visually appealing. Analogous schemes follow the rule of using three adjacent colors on the 12 spoke color wheel. Let us have a look at different color schemes to get a basic idea: 1. Various predefined color scheme guidelines can help you make better new schemes with the utmost ease. This blog focuses on understanding the basics of various color schemes and then using that information to create perfect color templates in Adobe Illustrator. In fact, Minitube does not actually give you the option to login to your YouTube account. As I said earlier, a Google account is not needed in order to subscribe to a YouTube channel in Minitube. Also available is the Subscriptions page, where you can manage the channels you've subscribed to in Minitube, and view all of their latest videos. On the Browse page, you can find videos by category, such as Most Popular, Trending, News, etc, rather than directly searching for them. From here you can also set the maximum video resolution, enable Restricted Mode to block videos containing inappropriate content, and set videos to only start playing manually, rather than automatically. Below the search box, you can see the previous keywords you've searched for, and the channels that you have recently visited. The main screen you're presented with when opening Minitube is the Search page. Minitube has a well designed interface, making it very easy to watch videos without a lot of distractions. No Google account is required for adding subscriptions, and no ads will play when watching videos. Minitube is a desktop YouTube client designed with privacy in mind, and with the intention of providing a more TV-like experience to YouTube, instead of simply duplicating the regular web interface. 1/29/2024 0 Comments Radiologik dj alternative(And lots of other publications picked this up without checking.) If I wanted to play jingles on air, would I just add them to my iTunes library and then add them to the queue the same as a normal track? And again, how would I insure there are no gaps between the jingle and the next playing track? I would most likely use the same jingle 2 or 3 times as well, so I'm assuming the Track Prep feature would only work once.įinally, if I'm playing a 30 second bed for example, and I'm still talking when it comes to the end of the bed, how could I get it to play it again until I've finished talking? Similarly, if I start a 30 second bed and I only talk for 20 seconds, how can I skip the last 10 seconds and jump to the next track? If I queued up 5 songs for example, removed the gaps with the track prep feature, then someone sent in a request and I added it to the queue, would the transitions between that and any new tracks added to the queue be lost? If so, how would I then remove the gaps before they go on air? In your demo, you started off with a playlist prepared and then used the track prep feature in Scheduler to make sure the transitions are smooth. Thanks very much for the podcast, I tried Radiologik a while ago and couldn't get the hang of it, so it's definitely given me a better idea of how it works. I don't really care about this issue as some people may, becuse as long as my intro transitions into my first track okay, which it normally does flawlessly most times, that's great. This, it appears, has not been happening for me. For example, promos/jingles under 30 seconds will be added to the spot player as opposed to regular music. I can remember when this app was just a bunch of unknowns and didn't read anything.Ī side note: I have been told that adding something to the Radiologik DJ queue will put it in specific players. So yes, it is a lot more accessible than when you last used it for sure. Some of the stuff is in other languages, but I'll butcher those too haha. When I say the artists that are coming up, and the songs/artists I've played in a set of songs, I scroll through my iTunes playlist and attempt to read them as best as I can, lol. In order to see what we play that is further than the current and two or so most recent tracks is to simply look at your iTunes playlist. Literally the only things that remain inaccessible in Radiologik are the advanced Preferences pain, which I will report on the forums to see if this is fixable, and the program queue. You will unfortunately be command-tabbing back and fourth from iTunes and Radiologik, but that's just how it is. Otherwise, if it is a short set of songs before the request, I will just add it to the queue along with everything else and it will play when it gets to it. If someone has a song while tracks are playing and I want to play it for them, I will sometimes be nice and put both my request ID and said request track at the top of the queue with the "add to top of Radiologik DJ queue" iTunes script so it will play immediately after the currently playing track, or after a voice break. I've been doing live shows for six months or so, you can listen to archives found within the same podcast to get a feel for how i do things.Īs for requests, I have a request ID. The most recent stuff for seeing what is currently playing, "just heard" previously before the current song, and the track before that, are at the top of the window and is accessible. This of course can be delayed with talk breaks and updates accordingly. It says both how long it will take to play all of the tracks you currently have queued, followed by what time it will be. You can see how much time you have left in the queue at the bottom of the Window. They block out sound less effectively, and cost more, than our soundproof window panels. Some soundproof or “triple-pane” windows may use laminated glass (as our soundproof inserts do), but the air gap is tightly restricted by standard wall structures. There is no need to buy soundproof replacement windows. Include the kind of sounds you intend to block so that we can give you a good idea of both price and expected results. How much noise can you block? We have answers, so don’t hesitate to bring us your questions or call or message for a free estimate for your home or office space. The kinds of noise our window inserts can block range from motorbikes to reverberating music, from sirens to outdoor amplifiers. Peaceful, stress-free enjoyment of interior space. Our customers often describe sound reducing window inserts as making the unwanted noise seem to be faint and distant, thus substantially improving the quality of their home life, ensuring: An STC rating of 48 provides outstanding sound control. This is a big reason why getting the best soundproof window inserts is so important. Contrast that with the typical rating for a single-pane window, which is STC 18 to 20 or a double-glazed window, which maxes out at STC 32. Window inserts from Sun and Sound Windows provide an STC rating of 42 for single-pane windows. It’s a simple indicator, as the STC rating number is a rough equivalent to the decibel reduction your sound barrier offers. The decibel reduction is measurable, and scientists use a Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating to tell you how well a material barrier absorbs airborne sound. Once in place, they’ll immediately block up to 75 percent of sound from commercial vehicles and other low-pitched sounds and as much at 95 percent of high-pitched sound. Our experts can quickly install your new soundproof window panels. The result is an insulating and energy-efficient window that traps sound effectively. Placed between an existing window pane and shades, the best soundproof window inserts leave a gap of at least two inches from the window pane. The membrane’s flexibility absorbs vibrations and dissipates sound waves. Thus, the panel in total is more than 1/4 inch thick. In contrast, soundproofing inserts are laminated glass consisting of two 1/8 inch annealed glass panels, with a membrane between them. Sound seeps right though standard replacement windows. The gas does not constitute a soundproof seal. Between the panes of these windows, there may be inert gas that guards against energy loss and holds humidity out. They lack the necessary soundproofing gap. With standard replacement windows, the panes are close together. The bigger a gap between the panes, the more sound waves a window system confines. The mass of our 1/4″ laminated glass equates to 3.27 pounds per square foot - substantially higher than standard windows, acrylic window systems, and other common window types. Double-pane windows, which consist of a pair of slim glass panes, are low on mass. The greater a material’s mass, the more sound waves it can absorb. Placed over single-pane windows, soundproof panels raise your R rating to 3.3 - the same as double-pane, argon-gas-filled energy-efficient windows! Comparing the Mass of Replacement Panes and Glass Soundproofing Inserts The higher your R-value rating, the better your insulation. Insulating materials are rated in terms thermal resistance, also known as R-value. To actually absorb sound you need sufficient mass to contain the sound waves and enough of an air gap to absorb the noise. Here, we explain in more detail which window soundproofing methods will work, which will not - and why. Soundproofing window inserts are designed for optimal noise control. The short answer comes down to this – Double-pane replacement glass windows are not meant to block sound. It’s one of the most common questions our new customers ask us. We often use the terms "mass" and "weight" interchangeably in our daily speech, but to an astronomer or a physicist they are completely different things. Ridiculous. Before we get into the subject of gravity and how it acts, it's important to understand the difference between weight and mass. Evidently I didnt deserve the same respect I gave the dancer or the club. I am now paying $100 fine and I did nothing wrong, was 100% sober and only asked for an explanation for what I supposedly did. I then called uber to pick me up and the police showed up at the same time. All I askedwas to understand what I did and there was no explanation. They wouldntProvide one and called the police to have me arrested for trespassing. I asked for some type of explanation because idealistically I would never disrespect anyone. which clearly from her and my perspective I hadnt. Bottom line I ended up getting kicked out with no explanation other than the dancer was complaining about me breaking whatever rules etc. I was like wait Im the one who stopped not because the dancer but when security charged in and said I did something wrong I felt so bad that they would think I would ever disrespect anyone like that plus the fact the dancer wasnt conplaing and if anything I was protecting her from whatever her rules are. Next thing I know security is telling me to leave because the dancer complained (she never complained or stopped anything). Once interrupted I stopped the dance very quietly and went down and sat at the bar. I got interrupted by security during a $60 5 dance set with a warning about something the dancer never said was an issue after I asked her what the rules were. However I will say this is a good guys hangout place for cheap food and drinks if you can avoid purchasing dances or shots. Ultimately didnt buy any dances that night, since thats not my thing. One girl literally blindsided me and grabbed me. It was comparable to a patty melt I get at IHOP, so really no complaints about the inexpensive food. What I dont like is the constant barrage of shot girls running round and the very aggressive nature of some of the girls trying to get you to buy a dance from them. The bread was crisp and the fries were crispy. Decided to order a patty melt and fries which took about 10 minutes to arrive. The wait staff is actually very helpful and quick to take orders. It was rather busy and most of the center tables were taken. The pizza here is free and the rest of the food is diner quality. This night I was here for a bachelor party for a friend of my brother on a Saturday night. The one thing I enjoy most about this establishment is that the food and beer here is very cheap. That is only available in the VIP rooms upstairs. One thing to consider when deciding to come to this bar is that there is no nudity on the floor. Heavenly bodies is your typical strip club type of establishment. She might not be as young as all the other girls there, but shes worth it. She came over to us and talked with us for some time and was wonderful. Mind you, this was also about an hour later.ERICKA is a diamond in the rough there. When Ericka came up to us and we were about to leave, she all the sudden cared about my friend, but it was too late. My friend wanted a dance from that same dancer, she was all for it, said shed be back in ten minutes for a smoke break, and then just walked around and chilled with the other dancer. Theyll also over serve you like no ones business. Also, one of the girls spilled my drink all over me, gave me a not real sorry and then went on with what she was doing. By the end of the night, the dancer didnt care about anyone and were too busy standing around and talking to each other. Even though we were tipping the girls and talking with them while they were on stage, we got so little after they got off stage, even though they were walking around with guys. We didnt get much attention being that we were women. I went there with a friend and it was okay at best. 1/29/2024 0 Comments Bijou theatre knoxvilleHummingbirdhis goal in life was to be an echo Instrumental Credits Jeff Tweedy Vocals, Electric & Acoustic Guitar John Stirratt Bass & Background Vocals Glenn Kotche Drums Leroy Bach Piano Mikael Jorgensen RMI Rock-si-chord Jim O'Rourke Electric Rhythm Guitar Tim Barnes Percussion I believe that’s the only way for me to be Oh it’s ok for you to say what you want from me You will steer your life and die old in bed at home You’ll feel it in your heart but not for very long I've been hiding out in the big city blinking What was I thinking when I let you back inīut still I'd be lying if I said it wasn't easy Then I fell asleep in the city kept blinking You would always love me like you did back then I always thought that if I held you tightly Take off your band aid cuz I don't believe in touchdowns I want to hold you in the bible black predawn What was I thinking when we said good night You were so right when you said I've been drinking Take you from the inside (baby) hold on tight I want to glide through those brown eyes dreaming What was I thinking when I said it didn't hurt This is not a joke so please stop smiling Let's undress just like cross-eyed strangers Let's forget about the tongue-tied lightning I Am Trying to Break Your HeartI am an American aquarium drinker We’re not alone Written by Jeff Tweedy and Nels Cline Instrumental Credits Jeff Tweedy – vocals, electric guitar John Stirratt – vocals, bass Glenn Kotche – drums Mikael Jorgensen – piano Nels Cline – lead electric 12-string Pat Sansone – vocals, acoustic guitar, Hammond A100 organ Jim O’Rourke – feedback Our stories fit into phones And our voices lift so easily In the dirt and the dust I have no idea how this happensĬan’t tell you who I am When everybody’s feeling all aloneĬan’t tell you who I am I am looking forward Parking is easy-two blocks away and only $6.00 for Self Park. But I've turned to rust as we've discussed We were very satisfied with the performance and will return to the Bijou. However, in addition, the Bijou also offers a wide array of well know rock, jazz and country artists from the past and present such as: Lindsey Buckingham, Christopher Cross, and Joe Jackson. It provides an opportunity for lesser known local and TN groups to advance their career and gain a higher level of identity than by just playing in the area pubs or smaller venues. The Bijou is unique because it fills a void in the KNOX area. The staff is cordial and they have a great concession area. The Bijou is classical,- really historical, and over 100 years old. We liked the way they have their restaurant next door directly connected to the theater. The small venue setting is our preference and the seating arrangement at the Bijou is ideal - with a good view of the stage from most areas. The Art Garfunkel concert was the first event we attended at the Knoxville Bijou and it was very good. My wife nagged me to get the Garfunkel tickets in December 2018 so I purchased seats from Ticketmaster at 10:01 AM on the morning they went on sale and got really good seats. |
